Requirements:
Welcome to the Barbarian Assault Mini-Game. This game will be harder than others. Why? Because it requires something the average RuneScaper forgot: Team work! If you can find five people that can work together, your one five lucky dudes. First off you need armour. Even if your not an attacker, you still need defensive tools.

Location:
It's by the Barbarian Outpost. See map below:

This is just east of the lighthouse. If you need any more help, consult your map! That's what it's there for. You can also teleport there using a Games Necklace.

Lessons:
To start off, talk to the Barbarian and read through the tutorial. You will go through many different lessons.

Rooms:
First off, you need to start in wave one. Here is a map of the the downstairs:

You need to choose Wave One when you first enter.

Recruiting:
First, you need to get a Scroll from the table and recruit your crew or you can join someone elses group. Once there is a full group, go down the ladder (if you are the leader) and you should begin unless someone left. Then, you need to delete them from your list. If you joined someones, don't leave! It creates a huge hassle!!!

Waves:
There are series of different waves. There are a total of ten waves in all. Each wave is harder than the previous. The 10th is where you must try to beat the snot out of the queen. She is a level 150 and hard to kill.

This symbol shows you what to say. See Horn Control for more infomation.

To make best of the team, everytime the horn needs blowed, BLOW!!!

The attacker's horn will inform the collector of the colour of egg to collect, and the collector's horn will inform the attacker of the combat style/spell/arrow type to use. The healer's horn will inform the defender of the type of food to bait Penance runners with, while the defender's horn will instruct the healer on which poison to use on the Penance healers.
It is absolutely essential to get used to using the horns, or you will quickly find yourself bogged down in a tide of the Penance and your other Team Mates.

Horn of Glory:
It is recommened to NOT use the Horn of Glory. You shouldn't need to if everyone is doing what they should be doing.

Jobs:
Of the five people playing, there are four people playing. A attacker, defender, healer and collector.

The attacker only needs to bring an appropriate melee weapon or bow. Also he needs weapons. Runes and arrows will be provided from the dispenser in the south of the room, marked with the red 'sword' symbol. If you take runes, you will receive up to 50 air, earth, fire, water, mind, chaos, death and blood runes. If you plan on using the Iban staff, you have to recharge extramly soon!

If you take arrows, you will receive up to 50 bronze, iron, steel and mithril arrows.

All the defender kills is Runners. You need to take the nessery food from the dispencer and use the trap to kill the Runners. There are two times to trap the Runners. When they are all killed, you need to go up north where you will find two logs and a hammer to the trap to fix it.

The healer has two jobs. To kill Penance Healers; To heal players.

You need to take out of the dispencer three things: Worms, tofu and meat. Use these with the Penance Healers to posion them!

You also get a vial. There is a pool on the other side of the queen's hole. This is filled with water that heals people. Fill the vial up!

There is a graph with the players name on it. When they call for the medic (by right clicking on there horn) there will be a blinking red cross by there name.

When a Penance creature dies, it leaves a ton of eggs behind. The collector must... well... collect the eggs. The attacker will tell what to pick up. If you pick up the wrong one it goes KABOOM! When done take these to the Egg Launcher.

Egg Launcher:
There are two launchers in the room. When a Penance creature dies, it leaves a ton of eggs behind. Collectors must walk around and pick of the egg required. If you pick up the wrong colored egg, it will blow up. There are three diffrent colors: Green, red and blue. You need to view it from the symbol on the upper right corner.

These are posionous. They'll poison the person it hits.
These are explosive. When they hit the enemy, they'll really pack a punch.
These are stunning... literally. When you steal from something and lose they'll turn around and hit you. Then you are momentarily stunned. This is what the egg does.
